A Closer Look at Printhead Value and Maintenance
The G1 Series uses an industrial-grade Epson i3200-U1HD printhead with 3,200 nozzles, ultra-fine 3.9 pL droplets, and UV resolution up to 1440 × 2400 DPI. It also prints up to three times faster than desktop UV printers using a single F1080 printhead.
With an estimated service life of 2,100 hours versus approximately 700 hours for the F1080, it can deliver up to nine times the lifetime productivity, supporting lower operation costs, fewer replacements, and less downtime. The G1 Series offers three cleaning modes, jetting, regular, and deep cleaning, to maintain printhead performance while reducing ink and cleaning-fluid use.
To support reliable long-term use, the G1 Series combines optimized inks, printhead heating, automatic white-ink agitation, standby cleaning, and software-guided maintenance reminders. Printheads are covered by a 180-day warranty, while the printer unit comes with a comprehensive one-year warranty. Warranty coverage is subject to inspection, and ongoing maintenance and repair support remains available after the warranty period expires.Multiple cleaning modes address nozzle checks, routine maintenance, and deeper cleaning while helping limit unnecessary ink and cleaning-fluid consumption.
